Aiming at the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutralization", Jingye Group has recently worked with the Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute to formulate the "Action Plan for Carbonization and carbon reduction of dedicated Iron and Steel Group", starting from different levels of strategy, planning, process technology, energy saving and carbon reduction, to comprehensively promote the implementation of the "double carbon" goal.

President Xi Jinping proposed for the first time at the 75th UN General Assembly: "China will increase its national independent contribution, adopt more effective policies and measures, and strive to reach a peak in carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060." After that, the strategic goal of the "3060-year Plan" was reiterated many times at a series of important meetings. At the same time, "carbon peak and carbon neutralization" has also become one of the eight key tasks deployed by the Central Economic work Conference in 2021.

Jingye Group actively responds to the national strategy and always adheres to green, low-carbon and high-quality development. By tapping the potential of pollution reduction, pollution control, energy saving and carbon reduction, the factory appearance, ecological environment and energy utilization have been greatly improved. In recent years, Jingye Group has invested 8 billion yuan to continuously implement transformation and management with ultra-low emission A-class enterprise standards as the goal of rectification and reform. Completed sintering, pellet desulphurization and denitrification, sintering machine flue gas circulation, sintering machine ring cold water seal transformation, blast furnace gas desulfurization, blast furnace slag waste heat recovery and heating, converter primary LT dry dedusting, converter ladle hot repair, casting mobile dust collection device, steel slag advanced treatment, double super gas power generation and sewage zero discharge treatment project, flue gas desulphurization and denitrification treatment of white ash kiln, organized ultra-low emission treatment in the whole process, The transformation and construction of a series of energy-saving and emission reduction projects, such as unorganized emissions and the governance and construction of management and control systems. The special railway line built with an investment of 3.41 billion yuan is a key construction project of Shijiazhuang's three-year action plan to win the Blue Sky Defense War, which can reduce the passage of about 1.3 million heavy trucks in Pingshan County every year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 400000 tons, and build a green and low-carbon logistics system, which has laid a solid foundation for the low-carbon development of enterprises.

Through the transformation and implementation of a number of projects, the energy consumption and environmental protection index level of Jingye Group has been greatly improved: compared with 2015, the comprehensive energy consumption per ton of steel has decreased from 580 kg of standard coal / ton to 491 kg of standard coal / ton, a decrease of 15.34%. The average energy consumption and water consumption is in the forefront of the industry; the carbon emission intensity per ton of steel has decreased from 1.76 tons in 2015 to 1.51 tons now. Sulfur dioxide emissions per ton of steel decreased from 0.8 kg / ton to 0.11 kg / ton, a reduction of 86.25%; smoke and dust emissions per ton of steel decreased from 2.74 kg / ton to 0.38 kg / ton, a reduction of 86.13%; nitrogen oxide emissions per ton of steel decreased from 3.38 kg / ton to 0.19 kg / ton, a reduction rate of 94.38%.

In order to reflect corporate social responsibility and responsibility, Jingye Group formally launched the "dedicated Iron and Steel Group carbon Dafeng and carbon reduction Action Plan" in March 2021, hand in hand with the Metallurgical Planning Institute. At present, the personnel of both sides work together to formally complete the preparation of the action plan through on-the-spot investigation and detailed demonstration.

Although facing a very complex and arduous task, Jingye Group will unswervingly promote the implementation of the "double carbon" goal and contribute wisdom and strength to the realization of carbon peak and carbon reduction goals in Hebei Province.
