Operating rates at lead-acid battery makers extended declines amid a low season

Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces dipped 0.04 percentage point from the previous week to 75.67% as of Friday April 16.

SHANGHAI, Apr 16 (SMM) – Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces dipped 0.04 percentage point from the previous week to 75.67% as of Friday April 16.

Orders at e-bike battery makers and automotive battery producers shrank amid a low season. Some battery makers took 1-2 days off last week for the Qingming holiday, and returned to normal production this week.
