Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port shrank 1,000 mt from the previous week to 77,000 mt as of Friday October 23.

SHANGHAI, Oct 23 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port shrank 1,000 mt from the previous week to 77,000 mt as of Friday October 23.

Silicon social inventories transferred from inland to ports as silicon plants held prices firm as it is approaching the dry season in Sichuan and Yunnan and as traders restocked. Shipments from social warehouses rose significantly.
