SMM News: September 22nd, 2020 "Top 500 Asian Brands" announced, Jiangxi Copper Group Co., Ltd. for the first time selected the list, ranked 199th.
"Top 500 Asian Brands" is compiled by the World Brand Lab. The ranking has been published annually since 2006. The list is an important reflection of the influence of brand companies in the Asian market.
This year is the first year for Jiang Copper Group to enter the "Top 500 Brands in Asia". In the same period, 19 other well-known domestic companies have entered the list for the first time, including GAC GROUP, Hisense, Wandashan, Rex Lighting, Douyin, pinduoduo and other brands.
The evaluation of the influence of Asian brands by the World Brand Lab takes market share, brand loyalty and Asian leadership as the basic indicators. In 2020, brands from 21 countries and regions in the world were selected as the "Top 500 Asian Brands". A total of 210 brands from China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) were selected, accounting for 42.0% of the top 500 Asian brands, ranking first.
In 2020, the "Top 500 Asian Brands" enterprises involve 43 industries, including 11 metallurgical enterprises. The top five metallurgical enterprises are BHP Billiton, Posco (South Korea), Baowu Group, Jiang Copper Group and SAIL (India).
