Qinghai is a big province of clean energy. Up to now, the installed scale of clean energy in the province has reached 28.01 million kilowatts, accounting for 87.7 percent, of which 16.09 million kilowatts of new energy has been installed, accounting for 50.4 percent. It has become the province with the highest proportion of new energy installed and the largest centralized photovoltaic power generation in the country.
Since the beginning of this year, the central authorities have successively issued major strategies such as the large-scale development of the western region in the new era, ecological protection of the Yellow River basin, and high-quality development, and proposed to cultivate a number of clean energy bases in the western region, increase the construction of cross-provincial channels such as west-to-east power transmission, and enhance clean power transmission capacity. Shen Tong said that the development of the clean energy industry in Qinghai will be a large-scale clean energy power generation market, a large-scale power transmission market, a large-scale energy storage market, and a large-scale clean energy market shared by the whole people.
