SMM Network News: at 11:00 on Sept. 11, with the successful ignition of the burner at one time, four top-burning hot blast stoves in the energy-saving and environmental protection renovation project of Benxi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., contracted by Jingcheng, China Metallurgical Co., Ltd., were successfully dried, and another important milestone node was completed as scheduled, sounding the charge for the whole project to be put into operation smoothly in an all-round way.
Sitting on the advantageous resources of the old northeast industrial base, Benxi Iron and Steel Group is moving forward by leaps and bounds in eliminating the old and establishing the new, eliminating backward production capacity and upgrading the new power of transformation. MCC Jingcheng once again invested in the construction of revitalizing the old northeast industrial base, and invested in the construction of Benxi Steel's new No. 5 No. 3, 000 vertical blast furnace and its supporting public auxiliary facilities. It will enable Benxi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. to maintain the ironmaking production capacity of 10 million tons all the time.
Four top-fired silicon brick hot blast stoves are used in this project, and its key technology has made a great breakthrough on the basis of the existing one. The whole system consists of three parts: vault precombustion chamber, vault combustor and regenerator. The flue gas waste heat recovery device is set up, and the combustion air is preheated by the front combustion furnace and plate heat exchanger, and the gas is preheated by the tubular heat exchanger at the same time. The optimized structure design of hot blast stove body and hot air pipeline system can effectively prolong the life of hot blast stove body. Adopting PLC control, setting up automatic furnace change and automatic combustion control system, the air supply time can be shortened, the hot air temperature can be increased, and the combustion optimization can be realized. The average air supply temperature can reach 1320 degrees Celsius.
Four hot air stoves are ignited and dried at the same time, and the drying equipment is operated remotely, equipped with safety interlock protection (flameout chain, air and gas pressure chain) and video surveillance technology. Because the silicon brick has unique expansion characteristics in the temperature range below 650 degrees Celsius, in order to ensure that the moisture is removed during drying, the stability of the masonry is not affected by thermal expansion, and the low temperature phase transformation of the residual quartz crystal in the silicon brick is avoided. The expansion coefficient increases, it is necessary to ensure a slow and reasonable temperature rise, so as to improve the thermal efficiency and life of the hot blast stove.
