Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, rose 12,000 mt on week to 737,000 mt as of Thursday August 13, with stocks in Wuxi expanding significantly.

SHANGHAI, Aug 13 (SMM) ― Primary aluminium ingot inventories in China increased this week, showed SMM data.
Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, rose 12,000 mt on week to 737,000 mt as of Thursday August 13, with stocks in Wuxi expanding significantly.

SMM data showed that China’s social inventories of aluminium across eight consumption areas fell 26,000 mt on the week to 832,000 mt as of June 24, mainly due to the decline in Wuxi and Hainan.
