Social inventories of steel products rose 1.4% MoM in July

Social inventories of 5 major steel products across 20 Chinese cities stood at 12.57 million mt by the end of July, an increase of 170,000 mt or 1.4% from early July. It shrank 7.64 million mt or 37.8% from the peak in early March, but expanded 5.75 million mt or 84.3% from the begining of the year, according to data from China Iron and Steel Association.

SHANGHAI, Aug 4 (SMM): Social inventories of 5 major steel products across 20 Chinese cities stood at 12.57 million mt by the end of July, an increase of 170,000 mt or 1.4% from early July. It shrank 7.64 million mt or 37.8% from the peak in early March, but expanded 5.75 million mt or 84.3% from the begining of the year, according to data from China Iron and Steel Association.
