SMM News: in early July, the social inventory of five major varieties of steel in 20 cities was 12.48 million tons, an increase of 330000 tons, or 2.7 percent, over the previous ten days, and the growth rate was expanded; compared with the peak in early March, it decreased by 7.73 million tons, or 38.2 percent; and the inventory increased by 5.67 million tons or 83.1 percent over the beginning of the year.
