On the same day, 19 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 311 were in close contact with medical observation, and 1 case of severe case was less than that of the previous day.

There are 71 confirmed cases (no severe cases) and 5 suspected cases imported from abroad. A total of 1962 cases were confirmed, 1891 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on 9 July, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 342 confirmed cases (including 4 severe cases), a total of 78609 cured and discharged cases, and a cumulative death of 4634 cases. a total of 83585 confirmed cases and 8 suspected cases have been reported. A total of 765615 close contacts were tracked and 3796 were still under medical observation.

A total of 1860 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 1365 were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (1176 discharged and 7 died), 46 from the Macao Special Administrative region (45 discharged from the hospital) and 449 from Taiwan (438 discharged and 7 died).
