Fuxin Special Steel to halt production for half a month for maintenance

SHANGHAI, Jun 18 (SMM) – Fuxin Special Steel, a stainless steel producer in the southeastern province of Fujian, China, plans to halt production for half a month in July for maintenance, SMM learned.

This is expected to reduce stainless steel supply by 20,000 mt, and 300- and 400-series will account for the majority of the output being affected.
