Nickel ore inventories at Chinese ports fell 100,000 wmt on week

Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports continued to fall this week, decreasing 100,000 wmt from a week earlier to 8.15 million wmt as of Friday May 22, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, May 22 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports continued to fall this week, decreasing 100,000 wmt from a week earlier to 8.15 million wmt as of Friday May 22, showed SMM data.

 

This came after a decline of 430,000 wmt in the prior week.

 

In metal content, the stocks fell 800 mt this week to 66,800 mt.

 

SMM data also showed that nickel ore stocks across seven major Chinese ports declined 70,000 wmt this week to 7 million wmt.
