SMM5 March 8: in the afternoon of May 8, Shanghai Tin began to climb continuously. As of 14:20, Shanghai Tin's main contract 2007 was at 130660 yuan / ton, an increase of nearly 1.2%.

On the news, Indonesia exported 4220.59 tonnes of refined tin in April, down 28 per cent from 5868.32 tonnes a year earlier and 7 per cent from 4539.19 tonnes in March, according to figures released by the Indonesian Ministry of Trade on Friday. Indonesia is the world's largest exporter of refined tin.

[Report: Samsung Opens Advanced Chip Packaging R&D Center in Japan]

Media reported, citing Samsung Electronics, that Samsung Electronics has opened an advanced semiconductor packaging R&D facility in Yokohama, Japan. Samsung previously announced a plan to invest about 40 billion yen over the five years starting in 2024 to expand the laboratory's research hardware facilities and strengthen its advanced packaging technology capabilities.
