SHANGHAI, Mar 25 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel (including wire rods and rebar) in Guangzhou fell 4.24% in the week ended March 25 to 2.3 million mt, 25.49% higher than the same period after the Lunar New Year holiday last year, showed SMM data.
Rebar accounted for 1.47 million mt, down 5.88% from a week ago but up 19.91% from a lunar year ago.
The rest 827,900 mt are wire rods, down 2.78% week on week but 36.82% higher than the same period after the Lunar New Year holiday last year.
