DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Mar 9 (SMM) – China imported 1.77 million mt of iron ore and concentrate in the first two months of 2020, up 1.5% from the same period last year, according to the latest data from China Customs.
China’s iron ore and concentrate imports stood at 1.01 million mt in December 2019, taking the full-year total to 10.69 million mt to produce an increase of 0.5% from 2018.
In the January to February period, China exported 7.81 million mt of steel products, down 27% year on year, while imports of steel products increased 2.1% to 2.04 million mt.
