Macrolink Group resumed its NPI plant in Indonesia

The plant has annual capacity of 8,600 mt of Ni content

SHANGHAI, Dec 20 (SMM) – A nickel pig iron plant in Indonesia, with annual capacity of 8,600 mt of Ni content has fully resumed recently and is expected to see output in late December, SMM learned.

The plant, owned by Chinese firm Macrolink Group, suspended operations at the start of this year, due to losses.

There is about 520,000 mt/year of Ni content of NPI capacity in Indonesia.
