SHANGHAI, Nov 8 (SMM) – Operating rates across licensed smelters of secondary lead in Jiangsu, Anhui and Henan provinces averaged 52.2% in the week ended November 8, up 9.2 percentage points from the previous week as smelters recovered from output restrictions, according to SMM survey.

The operating rate in Anhui rose 13.1 percentage points on the week to 36%, as Anhui Huabo and Huaxin restarted operation. Huabo has generated output this week while Huaxin will produce product next week. 

Henan Jinli smelter resumed a battery disassembling line, and this lifted the average operating rate in Henan to 47.4%, 15.7 percentage points higher than the previous week. 

The rate in Jiangsu remained unchanged on the week at 74.7%.
