According to the latest Clarkson data (as of October 15, 2019), 64 new orders were signed worldwide in September 2019, totaling 1599370CGT. Compared with 48 new global orders signed in August 2019, the total 1237137CGT increased by 16 units over the previous month, and the revised gross tonnage increased by 29.28 per cent month-on-month. Compared with 3694643CGT, a total of 136 new orders signed in September 2018, the number was down 72 from a year earlier, and the revised gross tonnage was down 56.71 per cent from a year earlier.
