SHANGHAI, Oct 28 (SMM) – Acid pickling facilities at a cold-rolling mill of Wuhan Iron & Steel Group, in central China’s Hubei province, were placed on care and maintenance on October 25 after a fire occurred at the mill on the same day.
The maintenance is scheduled to last three months, which is expected to affect daily production of cold-rolled coil by 6,000 mt, source told SMM on October 28.
