Shanghai-bonded copper stocks extended decline by 26,200 mt on week

Stocks continued their slide that began since May

SHANGHAI, Oct 12 (SMM) – Copper stocks across Shanghai bonded areas continued their slide that began since May, showed an SMM survey on Friday October 11.

Stocks were by 26,200 mt lower from September 27 and stood at 269,300 mt as of Friday October 11.

Shanghai base metals traded mixed after opening on Thursday morning, as Fed failed to set a timeline for tapering asset purchase, and COVID-19 pandemic made a comeback. Meanwhile, their counterparts on LME mostly went up.
