NPI production from Ulanqab accounted for 7.9% of the nation’s total in Jun

SHANGHAI, Jul 17 (SMM) –Energy supply disruptions affected major energy consumers in Ulanqab of China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 16, but this is expected to have little impact on local nickel pig iron production, SMM learned.

Local NPI producers are expected to be affected by one day at the most, some plants told SMM.

SMM data showed that NPI production from Ulanqab accounted for 7.9% of the nation’s total in June.
