DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, May 6 (SMM) – Eighty-seven vessels carrying 13.68 million mt of iron ore arrived at major Chinese ports during April 22-29, up 454,000 mt from the previous week, SMM forecasted on Monday May 6. Shipments from Brazil continued to expand while growth in deliveries from Australia slowed.
For the same week, iron ore shipments departing Australian ports increased 385,000 mt, to stand at 17.15 million mt, after they rose 1.13 million mt during the prior week.
Iron ore leaving Brazilian ports was expected to grow 1.06 million mt week on week, to 4.61 million mt during April 22-29.
