Brazilian Ministry of Commerce: Brazilian iron ore exports slow in early April

SMM4 16-according to Bloomberg, Brazil's Ministry of Commerce said Brazilian iron ore exports reached 7.48 million tons in the first two weeks of April this year. Exports in the first 10 days reached 747600 tons per day, down from 1.23 million tons per day in the same period last year.

The bank's forecast for Brazil's iron ore production this year has been cut by 75 million tons to 325 million tons.
