SMM News: market rumors "Shagang has stopped 1580 blast furnace, 480 blast furnace 4, 100 tons of electric furnace, affecting production capacity of nearly 3 million tons." The subsequent 5800 blast furnace may also stop. " According to SMM Steel exclusive verification, as of today, Shagang with the exception of a 480m / L blast furnace due to long-term suspension of production, other blast furnaces are normal production, follow-up details of SMM Steel will continue to follow up.

To refute rumors the blast furnace of Shagang has been shut down on a large scale and normal production has been achieved.
