Emergency emission reduction measures:

All sintering machines and shaft furnaces in iron and steel enterprises in Lubei District, Kaiping District, Guzhi District, Fengrun District, Fengnan District and Luanxian County have been suspended, and the production of sintering machines and shaft furnaces in iron and steel enterprises in other counties (cities) has been limited by 50 percent.

Dry desulphurization is used to avoid shutdown, denitrification facilities matching sintering machine and shaft furnace in iron and steel enterprises have been put into operation, and lime kilns in iron and steel enterprises are limited to 50%.

The coking time of coking enterprises was extended to 36 hours.

In addition, the city's iron and steel, coking, electricity, cement, chemical, coal mining and other key car enterprises are prohibited from entering and leaving the plant. Port collection and distribution vehicles are prohibited from entering or leaving the port area.
