Price CenterDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Apr 23 (SMM) – China's export of steel sheet and plate increased 14.4% from a year ago to stand at 3.77 million mt in March, showed data from China Customs on Tuesday April 23.
This raised exports in the first three months by 18.4% year on year, to 10.19 million mt.
In March, China exported some 158 mt of steel scrap, down 99.5% from March 2018. Exports in January-March declined 98.9% from the same period in 2018, and came in at 1,740 mt.
