SHANGHAI, Apr 18 (SMM) – Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China saw a greater decline this week as higher demand from construction depleted inventories.
As of Thursday April 18, the inventories fell some 9,800 mt from a week ago to stand at 98,600 mt, SMM data showed.
Aluminium billet inventories have fallen for six consecutive weeks and posted a decline of 3,600 mt last week.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 18,500 mt
Changzhou, Jiangsu – 6,200 mt
Huzhou, Zhejiang – 6,200 mt
Nanchang, Jiangxi – 3,100 mt
