Decline in aluminium billet inventories continues to slow

Inventories have fallen for five consecutive weeks

SHANGHAI, Apr 11 (SMM) – The decline in stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China continued shrink this week as consumption recovered at a slower pace.  

As of Thursday April 11, inventories fell some 3,600 mt from a week ago to stand at 108,400 mt, SMM data showed.

Aluminium billet inventories have fallen for five consecutive weeks and shrank 8,700 mt last week.

Details:

Foshan, Guangdong – 75,600 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 15,200 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 8,300 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang – 6,000 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 3,300 mt
