Shanghai-bonded nickel stocks shrink 3,000 mt on week

Import losses narrowed and improved trades at bonded warehouses

SHANGHAI, Apr 12 (SMM) – Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas declined 3,000 mt, or 10.8%, from a week ago and stood at 24,900 mt as of Friday April 12, SMM data showed.

Import losses narrowed to some 400 yuan/mt from the end of last week, and this improved trades at  bonded warehouses this week. 

Limited imports arrived at the bonded warehouses this week, with some forward cargoes directly entering the domestic markets.
