Shanghai-bonded nickel stocks shrink 700 mt on week

Low stocks in domestic markets drove cargoes in the bonded areas to domestic markets this week

SHANGHAI, Apr 4 (SMM) – Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas declined 700 mt, or 2.4%, from a week ago and stood at 27,900 mt as of Thursday April 4, SMM data showed.

Low stocks in domestic markets drove cargoes in the bonded areas to domestic markets this week. Limited imports arrived at the bonded warehouses, with some forward cargoes directly entering the domestic markets.
