Imports of iron ore, concentrate fall 8.9% in Feb

This lowered year-to-date imports by 5.6% from Jan-Feb in 2018, to 174.34 million mt

SHANGHAI, Mar 8 (SMM) – China's imports of iron ore and concentrate in February shrank 8.97%, or 8.18 million mt, from January to register at 83.08 million mt, showed data by China Customs on Friday March 8.

This lowered year-to-date imports of iron ore and concentrate by 5.6% from January-February in 2018, to 174.34 million mt.
