Daily crude steel output at CISA member mills extends drop in late-Dec

Average daily output of crude steel across CISA member mills during Dec 21-31 declined 3.02% from Dec 11-20

SHANGHAI, Jan 11 (SMM) – Average daily output of crude steel across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills during December 21-31 declined 3.02% from December 11-20 to stand at 1.78 million mt, according to an official release of the data on January 10. 

This followed a decline of 1.15% in December 11-20.

As of December 31, inventories of steel products across CISA member mills shrank 6.58%, or 799,000 mt, from December 20 and came in at 11.34 million mt.
