SHANGHAI, Jan 4 (SMM) – Huaigang Special Steel, a subsidiary of Shagang Group in Jiangsu province, plans to put its a blast furnace of 580m³ under maintenance for two months from January, SMM learned.
This is likely to affect molten iron output by some 120,000 mt.
A bar rolling line will also undertake maintenance for 25 days, starting from January 4. This is expected to impact output of steel bars of φ60-80mm by 50,000 mt.
