SHANGHAI, Dec 29 (SMM) – A steel mill in Fujian province will put its steelmaking and steel rolling lines into maintenance for some 20 days from January 20, the plant told SMM.
This is expected to lower its output of crude steel in January by 20-25% from December. In December, the mill’s production of #300 stainless steel accounted for 20-25% of overall domestic output.
Production will resume after the week-long Chinese New Year holiday from February 4.
