Dec maintenance at steel mills to affect rebar output

Some 2,500 mt of daily output of rebar will be affected as Angang Group put a production line into maintenance from Dec 1

SHANGHAI, Dec 3 (SMM) – Some 2,500 mt daily production of rebar will be affected as Angang Group in Henan province put one of its production lines into month-long maintenance from December 1.

Separately, around 1,300 mt of rebar output will be affected per day from December 3 in Liaoning province, as local steel mill Anshan Yuanxin Iron & Steel suspended two electric furnaces of 40 mt for maintenance. It remained unclear when the suspension will end.
