This translates to around 60,000 mt of rebar output

SHANGHAI, Nov 28 (SMM) – Some 2,500 mt of molten iron daily production will be affected as Houying Group Haicheng Iron & Steel in Liaoning province plans to put one of its 580 m³ blast furnaces into maintenance on December 3, SMM learned.

Maintenance is scheduled at 20 days. This will affect total production of molten iron by 50,000 mt, which translates to around 60,000 mt of rebar output, SMM expects.
