SHANGHAI, Nov 12 (SMM) – Seventy-one vessels carrying 10.93 million mt of iron ore are likely to arrive at major Chinese ports during November 9-15, up 190,000 mt from that during November 2-8, SMM data showed.

These marked the fourth consecutive week of increase, but growth was limited.

For the same period, iron ore shipments departing Australian ports will fall 820,000 mt to 15.34 million mt due to maintenance at ports; and those leaving Brazilian ports are likely to grow 460,000 mt to 7.84 million mt. These will remain higher than the weekly average shipments this year. Shipments are likely to expand in the short term.
