Yunnan Aluminium to have 2.1 million mt/year aluminium capacity by year-end

SHANGHAI, Nov 2 (SMM) – Primary aluminium capacity at Yunnan Aluminium Group is expected to reach 2.1 million mt/year by the end of 2018, the company said in its third-quarter report.

Capacity is estimated to expand some 33% in 2018.

The company plans to commission part of its primary aluminium capacity at Heqing county before the year comes to an end. Its primary aluminium project at Heqing is expected to have annual capacity of 210,000 mt it enters operation fully.
