Report: Jan-Sep iron ore production in Zhejiang dips 43.5% YoY

Iron ore production in Zhejiang registered at 595,800 mt in Jan to Sep, down 43.5% from the same period in 2017

SHANGHAI, Oct 29 (SMM) – Iron ore production in Zhejiang province registered at 595,800 mt in January to September this year, down 43.5% from the same period in 2017, showed data from Chinese research firm ASKCI Consulting.

In September, the province produced some 67,800 mt of iron ore, down 46.2% from a year ago. Output in August and June also declined year on year, by 57.2% and 40.8%, to stand at 55,300 mt and 79,400 mt, respectively.
