Long steel inventories in Guangzhou fall post-holiday

SHANGHAI, Oct 11 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel, including wire rods and rebar, in Guangzhou of Guangdong province decreased 3.2%, or 25,500 mt, from Monday October 8 to 772,300 mt as of Thursday October 11, SMM data showed.

For the same period, stocks of wire rods fell 25,100 mt, or 6.7%, to 348,700 mt; stocks of rebar shrank 400 mt, or 0.1%, to 423,600 mt.
