Daily crude steel output at CISA member mills extends gain in mid-Sep

Average daily output of crude steel across CISA member mills gained 0.58% from Sep 1-10 to stand at 1.98 million mt

SHANGHAI, Oct 8 (SMM) – Average daily output of crude steel across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills during September 11-20 extended its increase and gained 0.58% from September 1-10 to stand at 1.98 million mt, according to CISA data.

As of September 20, inventories of steel products across CISA member mills grew 2.7% from September 10 and came in at 12.58 million mt.

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) reported that crude steel output across major mills in China averaged 2.14 million mt per day in the first ten days of July, down 5.56% from late June and up 0.32% from the same period a year ago.
