Lead, zinc ore with 200,000 mt in metal content discovered in Anhui

Average grade of the lead and zinc ore exceeds 7%

SHANGHAI, Sep 30 (SMM) – Some 200,000 mt of lead and zinc ore, in metal content, was discovered in Baoshantao integrated mining area in Tongling of Anhui province. Average grade of the lead and zinc ore exceeds 7%.

This was the result of an exploration project on mineral deposits in the Baoshantao mining area, with its exploration report passing the review by the provincial Mineral Resources Reserve Evaluation Centre. Total of some 5 million mt of industrial ore, such as lead, zinc, silver, copper, and molybdenum, was uncovered in the project.
