DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Aug 23 (SMM) – China’s steel scrap exports continued to shrink in July and came in at 1,600 mt, down 99% year on year, according to data from China Customs.
This lowered total volumes in the January-July period to 333,000 mt, down 28.8% on the year.
Exports of steel plate/sheet in July fell 21.2% on the year and stood at 3.37 million mt. Exports for January-July lost 13.3% on the year and stood at 23.54 million mt.
