DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Aug 20 (SMM) – Chinese authorities were said to be considering halving steel output in Jiangsu province throughout November due to the China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held in Shanghai during November 5-10, according to market talk on Monday August 20.
Jiangsu province is geographically close to Shanghai, both located in the Yangtze River Delta, east China.
Multiple major mills in Jiangsu told SMM that they have yet to receive such notice, but some said they have heard of similar talk in the market and that official notice may be issued in October.
