Some sintering machines in Tangshan to halve output during Aug 16-17
Tangshan required steel mills in the north-east to cut half of the production of their sintering machines during Aug 16-17
SHANGHAI, Aug 16 (SMM) – The government of Tangshan required steel mills in the north-east part of the city to halve the production of their sintering machines during August 16-17, SMM learned.
The affected areas include Guye district, Luan, Qianxi and Qian’an counties.
The requirement is in addition to the city’s current pollution improvement effort, which required steel mills to limit operations from July 20 to August 31.
