SHANGHAI, Aug 16 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel in Guangzhou, Guangdong province rose 24,100 mt from a week ago to stand at 672,500 mt as of Thursday August 16, SMM data showed.
The inventory grew faster than a rebound of 5,500 mt registered last Thursday.
While rebar inventories shrank 1,200 mt on the week to 403,200 mt, stocks of wire rods jumped 25,300 mt to 269,300 mt.
