SHANGHAI, Aug 7 (SMM) – Shaanxi Iron and Steel Group, commonly referred to as Shaangang, put its sole 1,800 m³ blast furnace under maintenance from Thursday August 2, SMM learned.
This is expected to affect daily average molten iron output of 5,000 mt.
It remains unclear when the blast furnace would resume operation.
