SHANGHAI, Jul 26 (SMM) – Huaigang Special Steel, a subsidiary of Shagang Group in Jiangsu province, plans to put its a blast furnace under maintenance for three months from the end of August, SMM learned.
This is likely to affect molten iron output by some 80,000 mt.
Huaigang’s steel billet for external sales are also likely to be affected while its bar products will be less impacted.
