Production at a stainless steel mill in east China resumed over the weekend

SHANGHAI, Jul 9 (SMM) – Production at a stainless steel mill in east China that produces series #200 products resumed on Sunday July 8 after a technical renovation that lasted for two and a half months, SMM learned.

SMM estimates that the mill to produce some 40,000 mt of #200 stainless steel this month.

The mill suspended its production for technical upgrades from April 25.
