Daily crude steel output at CISA member mills rebound in early Jun

Average daily output of crude steel at CISA member mills stood at 1.98 million mt in early June.

SHANGHAI, Jun 25 (SMM) – Average daily output of crude steel at member mills of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) during June 1-10 stood at 1.98 million mt, up 25,500 mt from the level during May 21-31, according to data from CISA.

This marked a rebound after a decline of some 50,000 mt during May 21-31 compared to 10 days earlier.

Steel inventories across CISA member companies came in at 12.24 million mt as of June 10, up 410,000 mt from the level on May 31.
